What Lake Balboa customers ask us for
Lockouts after a walk at the lake
We get calls from people locked out of a car near the park or of their home after a walk. We come straight to you.
Mid-century door lock repairs
We repair and replace worn locks on the original doors of Lake Balboa homes.
Garage and side door locks
Many homes here have a side gate and garage entry. We add or replace locks on those doors.
Rekeys for new owners
Buyers rekey all exterior locks soon after moving in.
Lake Balboa is close to our shop, so it is easy for us to fit your job in on the same day when the schedule allows.
Lake Balboa also has many households where grown children have moved back in or relatives stay for long periods, and owners often lose track of how many keys are in circulation. A whole-house rekey solves that without changing the hardware. Near the Sepulveda Basin, homes with back gates onto the park side benefit from a keyed gate lock. On Victory and Vanowen, a few small apartment buildings call between tenants. We also help people who are locked out after a jog or bike ride around the lake, and we can usually get you back inside your car or home without any damage at all.
